Room Rates

NYSSBA has blocked rooms for exceptional rates at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers (convention headquarters hotel), 811 7th Avenue, and Sheraton Manhattan, 790 7th Avenue.

Lodging requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served, basis. No lodging requests will be accepted in the NYSSBA block after September. 12.

NOTE: These rates do not include the 13.375% sales tax and $3.50 per night occupancy tax.  

To avoid paying sales tax, present your New York state sales tax-exempt form upon check-in. Please ensure that the district name on the tax-exempt certificate matches the district name on the hotel registration and on the method of payment being used. All certificates must have original signatures.

Lodging requests must be guaranteed by a credit card. Sorry, purchase orders or checks will not be accepted.

Hotel cancellations made after Aug. 22 will be charged $100. Please make certain of your convention attendence prior to making your hotel reservation. No-shows will be charged for one night’s lodging. A portion of the room rate offsets Convention costs.

There is a limited number of rooms available for Wednesday arrival at the contracted rate.
