Position Description:
The Board of Education of the Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking a Superintendent of Schools for its approximately 6,300 student K-12 district. Saratoga Springs is located in the Capital Region of New York State, in the heart of New York State’s “Tech Valley”, and approximately 30 miles from the state capital of Albany. The city is well known for its history, cultural events and activities, world class thoroughbred racing, and proximity to the Adirondack and Green Mountains. A minimum salary of $175,000 is being offered, along with a professional contract, which will include a competitive fringe benefit package. Senior Executive Officer

Position Description:
The Capital Region BOCES is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Executive Officer. The Senior Executive Officer will join the newly appointed District Superintendent to form the executive leadership team for the Capital Region BOCES. The Senior Executive Officer will be responsible for the oversight of BOCES’ programs, services and business operations.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a New York State School District Leader (SDL) certificate and be a proven leader well versed in NYS Educational systems, requirements, standards and assessments.
