Meeting Mechanics - The Basics of Parliamentary Procedure Most school board policies require that board meetings be run in conformity with Robert’s Rules of Order. Learn the basics of these important operating rules and get familiar with the procedures. You’ll gain confidence in your role as a resource to your board and administrative staff and, most importantly, enable you to ensure that your board meetings are run properly.

Public Hearings - Review of Requirements and Policies Public hearings are required by either state law or regulation in a number of instances, such as the district budget process and prior to adoption of the district code of conduct and school safety plans.
