Employee Relations

As providers of public education, school districts are oftentimes one of the largest employers in their communities. As such they are responsible for recruiting, retaining, assigning and managing the high-quality workforce needed to educate their students. Current laws complicate this task by placing limitations on the decisions that local government employers can make about their workforce.
