Tax Freeze Savings Plan Question and Answer Document
The Division of the Budget has released a Q&A on the tax freeze government efficiency plans. Further guidance is anticipated. See below to read the full text:
During the 2014 session, legislation was enacted that instructs the State Education Department to consider whether the Board of Regents should implement mandated CPR curriculum. As a part of that process, the department must seek input from stakeholders and interested parties.
In addition, the Department must consider the fiscal impact of enacting this proposed regulatory mandate on the state and school districts, the amount of instructional time such curriculum would require and whether such time would detract from other mandated courses of study, as well as any additional factors the Commissioner deems relevant. To gather this information, the department has released the following survey:
