The Federal Relations Network (FRN)
Save The Date
FRN Conference - January 27-29, 2013
Washington, D.C.
Appointment to the Federal Relations Network is an honor and a testament to each appointee's dedication to grassroots advocacy on behalf of New York State's public education system. Appointment to the Federal Relations Network (FRN) is for a full year. During your appointment we urge you to develop a close working relationship with your representative and their staff, to keep informed on school boards' positions on federal issues and to encourage U.S senate and congressional representatives to vote in support of public education and sound school governance. Overall, the FRN appointees' goal should be to increase their representative's awareness of school boards' positions on federal legislation and regulations.
Your NYSSBA Federal Relations Network coordinator is Penny Martiniano. Please contact Penny with any FRN related questions at (518) 783-3734 or via email at penny.martiniano@nyssba.org
