Position Title:     Superintendent of Schools

District/Company:     Clinton Central School District

Position Description:    The Clinton Central School District is comprised of three schools serving approximately 1,300 students, all located on one campus. The district has a staff of approximately 175 employees and an annual operating budget of approximately $25 million.

Qualifications:    The district is seeking a highly qualified educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will have a background that encompasses grades K-12, including experience in teaching and as an administrator. The candidate should possess a strong background in curriculum and instruction, school finance, business management and budgeting. Experience as a superintendent is required. NYS SDA/SDL is required. Residency in the Clinton Central School District is preferred.

Salary Range:    $130,000-$150,000

Position Title:     Elementary School Principal

District/Company:     Vestal Central School District

Position Description:    African Road Elementary School serves approximately 270 children in grades kindergarten to 5th grade.  It shares the school campus with Vestal Middle School, offering its students a comprehensive education experience until 8th grade when students attend Vestal High School, a nationally recognized International Baccalaureate School.  African Road Elementary is one of five elementary schools.   • Certified lead evaluator of teachers.
  • Teaching experience at the elementary level preferable.
  • Administrative experience required.
  • Superior educational and leadership skills as evidenced from employment experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate in a positive and proactive fashion with parents, staff, students, administrators, colleagues and the Board of Education.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage instructional and support staff members through supervision and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing a process of instructional improvement, professional development, and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven instruction and implementation of the Common Core Learning Standards in ELA and math.

Position Title:     Deputy Superintendent of Administration

Position Description:    The Deputy Superintendent of Administration will execute the overall organizational strategy of the Rochester City School District. The role is crucial in overseeing, aligning and improving administrative functions, processes and projects that engage multiple divisions. The Deputy Superintendent must be able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders focused on providing the best environment for learning for our students.
