As part of the newly launched School Board U training program, NYSSBA is pleased to introduce a new recognition program effective July 1, 2010. All participants in NYSSBA’s previous recognition program have been awarded as necessary, such that everyone starts accruing new points under the new School Board U Recognition Program at the same starting point.
The School Board U Recognition Program acknowledges the extensive time and effort required of school board members who continually strive to expand their knowledge and skills for better board governance. NYSSBA members earn credits for participating in School Board U training opportunities, including the Annual Convention, regional workshops and webinars – check out the point value for NYSSBA events.

School boards, board members and superintendents from districts that are not members of NYSSBA are not eligible for recognition under this program.
Administration
