Advocacy Update: Urgent Call to Action

As we enter the final planned day of budget negotiations, Friday, March 31st, issues related to the charter school industry continue to be a sticking point in the final agreement. 

One of the key issues up for debate is a proposal made by the Executive and the Senate to unfreeze charter school tuition payments, which would increase the payments made by the public school districts with students attending these schools.

Call your Legislators today and tell them you oppose this, and other proposals to provide state aid to the charter school industry.
