Grace Under Pressure: Innovation in a Time of Forced Efficiencies

Collaboration between and among school districts and local governments is key in finding new, expanded and improved ways to efficiently share services. This summit is an
opportunity for you to engage with school district, county, city, village and town leaders from across the state to explore shared services, exchange success stories, and learn how to create more efficiencies for our taxpaying communities without sacrificing the quality of essential services.

Noon How to Target and Communicate Efficiency
Local governments, as the government closest to the people, are efficient by their very nature. This session will focus on tools municipal officials and staff can use to tighten budgets and make operations even more efficient, while more effectively communicating this important practice to residents.

Noon - 2:00 p.m. Lunch:  Association CEOs and Chief Electeds Roundtable
The leaders from four state associations that represent school boards, counties, cities, villages and towns will introduce the Municipal Innovation eXchange (MIX), a new collaborative effort to help school districts and local governments expand ongoing efforts to share and consolidate services and review the Property Tax Freeze in the enacted budget. Be sure to bring your questions!
