The COVID pandemic has broadened the need for equity and inclusivity in schools. School board members have a critical role in fostering these needs to ensure every student can succeed.
In the first webinar of a three part series, attendees will explore the background of equity and inclusion in education and get an update on current events involving these important issues. Attendees will also hear how the pandemic has broadened the need for equity in our schools and what districts can do to meet this need.
Join NYSSBA’s Leadership Development team, along with panelists Dr. L. Oliver Robinson, superintendent, Shenendehowa Central School District, Dr. Luvelle Brown, superintendent, Ithaca City School District and Michael Jaime, president, Elmont UFSD; president, NYS Caucus of Black School Board Members, as they discuss what districts and school boards can do to support the needs of all students.
