A uniquely American tradition, local school boards ensure our public schools reflect the values of our local communities. And our school boards are ultimately responsible for ensuring student success.

School board members volunteer their time and talents to set the mission, vision and goals of their districts. They act as the governance team to develop policies and provide fiscal oversight with only one goal in mind – ensuring success for every student.
