The NYSSBA News cameras travel to one of the most historic locations in the United States, Fort Ticonderoga. For 2 days at the Fort, students from the Stissing Mountain High School from the Pine Plains Central School District experience the Fort up close. From uniforms and food, to tactics and tools, students experience life during the 18th century.

Nearly 16 years ago, only 70 percent of students graduated from Kingston High School. Last year, the graduation rate was 83 percent. It’s part of the reason that Kingston High School and six other schools in the district are no longer on a state list of schools in need of improvement.

South Glens Falls High School raised over $760,000 at this year's Marathon Dance. With support from the community, the school has raised over $5.2 million to help families and organizations in the region since the dance started 39 years ago.
