Brad Sande, a member of the Randolph Academy Union Free School District and Cattaraugus County Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES Boards of Education, is one of seven school board members statewide featured in a new report on school board leadership.
The report "In Their Own Words," issued by the New York State School Boards Association, features interviews with school board members on such topics as what they consider to be socially responsible service, and how they find their work meaningful and rewarding. They also discuss the role of school boards in raising student achievement.
The report is part of NYSSBA's eight-week campaign celebrating school service, which runs through March 21.
