Below you will find a link to the 2025 Voting Delegates' Guide to be used for the Annual Business Meeting, which will take place virtually at 4pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025. This guide contains the complete listing of proposed bylaw amendments and resolutions in the order in which they will be reviewed by the voting delegates. Please note, resolutions 1-7 are sunsetting and will be presented as a consent agenda during the meeting. All amendments, rebuttals or endorsements received by the September 19 deadline are included. We encourage you use the navigation tool on the left side of your screen to move between resolutions. You can also be brought directly to the bylaw amendment or resolution by clicking on the proposal on the listing pages in the beginning of the book. The complete guide can be found here:
Voting Delegate Registration
Each NYSSBA member board is entitled, and encouraged, to select a board member to serve as a voting delegate for the meeting. Voting delegate registration should be completed by district clerks. Registration details and procedures were emailed directly to district clerks. If you are interested in serving as the voting delegate for your board, please contact your district clerk to have them register you by 12pm on October 10. Amendment Submissions
Amendments, Rebuttals, and Endorsements that were received by September 19 are included in the Voting Delegates’ Guide. Amendments to be eligible for consideration during the Annual Business Meeting it must be to be received by 5pm on October 14 via email to Danielle Grasso at danielle.grasso@nyssba.org. The forms for submissions are below.
Meeting Procedure
The Order of Business and Rules of Conduct are located in the front of the Voting Delegates’ Guide. We encourage all members and voting delegates to review this information prior to the meeting. You can find Voting Delegate instructions in the back of the Voting Delegates Guide. Any informational questions or clarifications regarding specific resolutions can be answered during our Voting Delegates Q&A session at 12pm on October 9. Voting delegates will need to pre-register to have their questions answered during the event. Questions regarding meeting technology and procedure will be covered during the delegate orientation session at 4pm on October 14. We encourage all new delegates to attend the orientation session or view the recording which will be shared after the meeting. All non-delegate NYSSBA members will be able to view the meeting via a live stream “gallery” setting.
