At midnight during the overnight hours, following the lack of any budget agreement, the federal government shut down.

Below you will find a link to the 2025 Voting Delegates' Guide to be used for the Annual Business Meeting, which will take place virtually at 4pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025. 

All districts still have the opportunity to suggest amendments to the submitted resolutions, endorse a resolution, and offer rebuttals to the not recommended resolutions by September 19, 2025.

On Tuesday, August 19, the Resolutions Committee met virtually to discuss the proposed resolutions and bylaw amendments that were submitted to NYSSBA by 5:00 pm on July 18.
