Earlier today, as state budget negotiations continue between the Governor and the legislature, the Senate and Assembly passed a fourth state budget extender.

The Senate and Assembly returned to Albany on Monday afternoon to approve a third short-term budget extender, as submitted by Governor Hochul.

The Senate and Assembly briefly returned to Albany today to pass a second state budget extender.

After gaveling out of session earlier this afternoon, both the Senate and Assembly have left Albany in advance of the holidays over the next few days.
