NYSSBA 2025 Proposed Bylaw Amendment and Resolutions Booklet

On Tuesday, August 19, the Resolutions Committee met virtually to discuss the proposed resolutions and bylaw amendments that were submitted to NYSSBA by 5:00 pm on July 18. Resolutions included in this publication are proposals. They are not NYSSBA positions. Only the voting delegates can adopt a formal position statement during the 2025 Annual Business Meeting, being held virtually on Thursday, October 16, at 4:00 pm.  Below you will find the link to the 2025 Proposed Resolutions Book with the Committee’s complete report. 2025 Proposed Resolutions Book

Member boards have the ability to propose amendments and offer rebuttals or endorsements to the submitted resolutions. Amendments, rebuttals and endorsements for inclusion in the 2025 Voting Delegates’ Guide must be submitted via email to advocacy@nyssba.org by 5:00 pm, Friday, September 19. Amendments must be received by NYSSBA by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 14 to be eligible for consideration during the Annual Business Meeting.

Annual Business Meeting – Voting Delegate Registration

The 2025 Annual Business Meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, October 16at 4:00 pm. Each NYSSBA member board is entitled, and encouraged, to select a board member to serve as a voting delegate for the meeting. Voting delegate registration closes Thursday, October 9 at 12:00 pm and should be completed by district clerks. Registration information was emailed directly to district clerks. If you are interested in serving as the voting delegate for your board, please contact your district clerk to have them register you.
