Governor Cuomo’s Common Core Task Force to Hold Regional Listening Sessions (UPDATED)

Beginning Friday November 6th from 4-6 p.m. and continuing into next week, the Common Core Task Force will hold a series of regional listening sessions.
These sessions will be open to the public, and participants may deliver three minutes of testimony to representatives of the Task Force.
On Friday, November 6th, sessions will be held in New York City, Long Island, Capital Region, Finger Lakes / Western New York and the Hudson Valley.
A session will take place in the Southern Tier on Monday November 9th from 7-9 p.m.
On Tuesday, November 10th sessions will be held in the North Country, Central New York and the Mohawk Valley from 7-9 p.m.
NYSSBA’s Executive Director Tim Kremer will be one of the Task Force representatives at the Hudson Valley and Central New York sessions, which will be held at Purchase College and Onondaga Community College respectively.
