Advocacy Update – 2016 Election Wrap Up

Last night the country elected a new president. Closer to home it appears likely that the Republicans will retain control of the State Senate for 2017, though final results are still pending recounts. Comment Period On Supplement Not Supplant Closes
Earlier this week, the comment period on the most recent round of ESSA regulations, including proposed regulations on supplement not supplant closed. NAI Registration Is Open
The National School Boards Association's National Advocacy Institute (NAI) will be held on January 29-31, 2017 in Washington, D.C. This federal conference and lobby day is open to all board members and community partners.
