USED Retracts Controversial Supplement vs Supplant Regulations
In one of the Obama administration's final acts, (at least relating to education) USED withdrew their proposal to change "supplement vs supplant" rules which included controversial proposals regarding building level spending of state and local resources, as a condition of federal aid. NYSSBA worked hard to stop the adoption of this regulation, which would have had serious negative consequences for many of New York's districts. NYSSBA Capital Conference
