Alhassan Susso, a social studies teacher at the International Community High School a part of the NYC School District and an immigrant from West Africa, will speak about how he uses his personal journey to expand his students’ worldview.

Kiara Mantz, a senior in the Bolton Central School District and a member of the YMCA Youth and Government Program.
Kiara will talk about her experience with public education and the importance of advocacy as illustrated through her experience as head lobbyist for the program.
