Webinar: Federal Stimulus and Your District

Tuesday, May 18, 12pm-1pm (plus up to an additional 30 minutes for questions)

Join us for an interactive discussion with the New York State Education Department on the importance of thinking strategically about the use of the recently approved federal stimulus funds. The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act and American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act provides nearly $12 billion in dedicated one-time funding to New York State's public school districts. The discussion will review relevant state and federal processes and rules associated with the funds, and will offer tools and strategies to take advantage of the opportunities created by this funding.

This webinar is presented jointly by the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA), the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS), the Association of School Business Officials New York (ASBO New York) and the Conference of Big 5 School Districts.

We welcome any questions you may have in advance of the webinar, so that we can do our best to get answers and incorporate them into the presentation.

NYSSBA's Governmental Relations team will continue to report on these and other issues.  For more information, visit our Key Issues Page.
