  8. Orients newly assigned staff members & assists in their development, as appropriate.
  9. Conducts meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the program.
  10. Assumes a leadership role in developing staff development and curriculum for any course newly mandated by the State Education Department.
  11. Maintains liaison and active participation with education leaders in staff, curriculum, and instruction at state, regional and national levels.
  12. Works with counterparts in other BOCES to explore possible collaborative efforts.
  13. Serves as a member of the Instructional Advisory Council & the District Superintendent’s Cabinet.
  14. Assumes other duties assigned by the Deputy or District Superintendent.
